Entry requirements for Sunday?

Entry requirements for Sunday?

Postby redrobo » Wed May 19, 2021 3:31 pm

With only a few days to go to the second leg, what if any are the specific entry requirements to the stadium?

1 Is there going to be any Test and Trace system in operation and if so what will this involve?
2 Are spectators to prove ID either by photograph or by visual details of proof of address?
3 Are face masks to be worn at all times in the stadium?
4 Will the car parks be open?
5 Will entry for everybody be via the turnstyles?
6 Is it advisable to gain entry to the stadium earlier than on a normal match day?
7Are plastic bottles with liquid in allowed into the stadium?
8 Is social distancing ie 2m / 1m rule to be enforced?
9 Is the Local Choice suite to be closed to everybody?

Thanks......

Email the club. I had an enquiry and had a reply within an hour. Failing that, just read some of the stuff released this week regarding the game eg free bottle of water on entry.

Very few details to date...and I did email the club.....

But it's important that all are aware of any specific entry requirements. I'd hate for someone with a ticket be refused entry because they don't comply with the requirements....

Its only Wednesday and the game is sunday. I’m sure the club will release all the additional info soon.

1 Is there going to be any Test and Trace system in operation and if so what will this involve? Yes. They have already said you need ID if over 14 will need to take ID to comply with this. The club will then have proof of attendees to trace them if required
2 Are spectators to prove ID either by photograph or by visual details of proof of address? As above. passport, copy of birth certificate or driving licence
3 Are face masks to be worn at all times in the stadium? As far as I gather you dont when outside but would need them in indoor areas
4 Will the car parks be open? Not until sunday, too early to park today
5 Will entry for everybody be via the turnstyles? Club did look at offering the opportunity to pole vault in but I gather this is not happening now.
6 Is it advisable to gain entry to the stadium earlier than on a normal match day? No. Everyone is advised to arrive at 12.29
7Are plastic bottles with liquid in allowed into the stadium? No, you can only take in empty plastic bottles
8 Is social distancing ie 2m / 1m rule to be enforced? Yes. Unless the game is postponed until June 21st
9 Is the Local Choice suite to be closed to everybody? No. Its Bolton fans only allowed in there

Why the f**k do i bother....

Let there be problems about no identity stopping people from entry to the stadium....etc etc etc...

Just contacted the club, and apparently on approaching the turnstile, you put your left leg in......then your left leg out , do the oky coky and you turn about!!!

The way this post descended into chaos

In all seriousness, I would’ve thought the club would have put a full statement out by now, but it also seems logical to see what happens tomorrow evening in case any precautions need amending.

Fans in other games have predominantly been wearing masks while watching the game.

I think what Neil says about turnstiles is relevant as red seated supporters normally enter via the reception desk.
I assume it will be turnstiles as long as folk can fit through after a long lockdown

No hot drink facilities but you can’t bring a flask, hope it’s not a cold day

Thanks to the club for providing all the details ( and answering most of my questions posted above) relating to entry to the game and what is and is not allowed whilst in the stadium.

Shame about the lack of car parking but no doubt there are reasons for it.

:) :) :)

Well, that's my day buggered up. Not sure I can last 2 hours without a cuppa?

I hope there's something to do to take my mind of it.

I know the club are only doing what they have to do but some of these rules are mental. Why can't you bring a flask? Why do you have to wear a mask in the stadium when you are stood outside?

The flask thing irritates me. The closed car park is ridiculous - it forces people to walk together on narrow pavements to get to and from the ground.

Lancaster City Council's or the club's rules?
