It was a red card, no doubting that. DA was happy enough to admit that. Hard to say how much Afolayan meant to stamp or not - if we're honest, it was probably not too dissimilar to Stockton vs Solihull. Ridiculous of Mellor to kick out like that. The thing that winds me up more is Evatt's ridiculous 'pity me' attitude acting like the whole of League Two is just gnarly shin kickers stopping his 'pretty' Bolton side. Mellor's red was justified and we do our fair share of naughty things too, but they were chucking themselves about and doing niggly fouls as much as any other League Two side.

I'm massively proud of that second half from the players who played. They put in a great effort and generally kept the ball away from our final third. Unlucky that the ball didn't quite sit up/some good defending stopped McAlinden getting a clean strike at the end. Super effort.

So frustrating that we've let ourselves down time and time again in key games with stupid red cards. Very big case to say we'd be comfortably in the automatics and very possibly challenging for the title if it weren't for the reds.

Just read this thread, and by the F**k you lot are a set of whining gits, we beat you fair and square, you have no right to be playing the likes of BWFC, giants among minnows, that said I hope you beat Newport so we can come en masse to your lego land next season, be a good weekender

Come in peace have you?
Good luck next season, despite it all.
Having read the Bolton message board the day after we drew at the ground you rent, it’s not unusual to moan about sendings off changing games, so if the cap fits and the high and mighty Trotters can have deluded morons whining, then so can the Shrimps, but thanks for pointing it out!
As you are such a big club, you have the same proportion of ameoba brained slack jawed fuckwits as we do, but, as you kindly pointed out, you have thousands of them!
Fair enough.
We also hope we get promoted at Wembley, thanks for the support.
Have a great bank holiday!
Love you.

Sorry to disappoint, but we actually own the ground, and a proper ground, unlike your lego set.

As a lower league side it is only a matter of time before Bolton relocate to a more viable ground. The club cannot afford the current ground.

Aww, bless. Have you paid for your pasties yet or are they part of the huge, high interest loan that you took out?

Came within a whisker of going out of business, then you were crap until January, when the financial restrictions were lifted, allowing you to spend more money than you get in... ...again! It's as if you can't learn how to stop infecting yourselves with COVID and you can't stop spending cash you haven't got!

Any predictions as to when you finally go bust?

We have a fanbase to make the Reebok a viable ground, we sold more season tickets in 5 minutes than you shifted for a season, fookin amateurs

Credit to you, I wondered if that would get a bite!! :D Of all of my post, it seems you agree with rest so I will take that!! :D
You are without doubt a far bigger club, with an illustrious history, I know a few fans, all decent types and all were a little bit depressed by the standard of numpty that turned up at your ground to celebrate a bit too soon.

It’s great you come on here to belittle a team who are so small and insignificant yet somehow only finished a point behind the mightiest team in the known universe, but hey ho, whatever floats your boat.

Have a lovely weekend.

TROTTERONTOUR seems to be a little behind the times. Bolton do not play at the Reebok and Bolton are no longer a big club. They are massively in debt and paying players more than the club can afford only succeeds for a short time. Get used to life in League 1- that's about the level that's appropriate unless you default on your huge debts and then it could be oblivion!

We shouldn't try and belittle him, as easy as it is. He's clearly still celebrating that his huge club will once again be in the same league as their real rivals and contemporaries, such as AFC Wimbledon, Burton & Fleetwood next season, something we're still dreaming about.

So Trotts, I see you've signed Half-a-lion on a three year deal? Perhaps if you sign the other half too, he'll be able to stay on his feet and not dive around screaming all the time?

Just come back to put you right, firstly and I apologise for dashing your illusion of us no longer being a big club, we are massive, secondly, and most disappointing for you, we have little to no debt, for the first time in 10 or more years we are being run sustainably, now know your place in the football pyramid, and enjoy your day in the sun, because you'll soon be back to your natural level of non league.
