Just saw on twitter, why wouldn't he sign the contract?

Either he has had an amazing offer from somewhere else or he thinks we were undervaluing him. For me him signing was more important than keeping Stockton. I think be could have really shone in league 1 as he is technically very good.

I wouldn’t go quite that far comparing him to Stockton. He did exceptionally well for us and I really wanted him to stay, however not many compare to Cole’s involvement. Clearly he hasn’t been sold by our offer in comparison to somewhere else. Best wishes John’o!

Not what we wanted to read BUT I wonder if what he said in an interview after the Wembley game could see him sign for a League of Ireland Club. He was quite emotional about being able to go home to Ireland to see his family who he hadn't seen for months. Maybe an opportunity to play in Ireland and be with his family was too good to turn down... :?: :?: :?:

OR he could have been tempted by an incredible offer from Bratford.....I just hope it isn't that lot if he decides to return to these shores....

Was that not Songo’o? I don’t remember seeing anything about O’Sullivan not seeing his family, likely he’s heading the Bradford as he kept stressing that Derek trusted him and that’s obviously a huge part of football. Maybe SR couldn’t guarantee a place in the starting XI for him.

Shame! He's one we wanted but I thought it was taking some time. At least Stephen knows what he needs now.

Having players like Sully in the team is vital to the way DA sets up. His energy and willingness to run was top class and Derek brought him on leaps and bounds. Very sad to see him go but he has earned the chance to decide his own future. Another Wembley hero departs.

Bit of a kick in the teeth this as I think he could have been a very handy player under SR with his versatile skill set and adaptability.

I felt pretty sure he would be signing, especially after we managed to secure Diagouraga and Stockton.

He's ended up at Accrington.

At least we'll see him again twice a season.

Well at least it's not Bratford . No doubt a 3 year deal was the clincher and who can blame him for that....

No regrets just hope he doesn't turn it on against us.

Stanley fans on their forum are not that impressed.

3 year deals are almost unheard of at our club.

Just hope he's learned not to celebrate too hard if he scores against us.

Three year deal surprises me, he played well for us but he's never proven himself at League One. No way we would have amtched that, I can't see many teams offering that.
