More of a right-back is O'Connor, centre back being his main position.

Maybe Mellor is our defensive midfielder to fill the role thanks to Yan leaving for pastures new. Still to be confirmed that he's joined Adams at Bratford. Last minute hitch and could be off elsewhere...

Mellor at DM is a big no for me... And Yann has decided he's better off elsewhere - if a player doesn't want to be here, whoever they are it's better off if they're not around. Does seem strange he left us weeks ago and still hasn't been announced at Bradford, but that's the way of the transfer market!

Could be wrong but read on the Bratford forum that Yan may stay in France to be near his family, However their CEO seems confident that he will sign and that announcement will be made soon.

Just love it if Yan stays in France.

Sounds like Adams is having problems recruiting a central striker to do the job Cole did so successfully.

I might be completely off the mark here ( no change there then, I hear you say!!) but the 4 from the youth set up was in the future when the Academy starts to bear more suitable fruit!

I interpreted it differently - I thought we’d be handing 4 youngsters their first contracts going into the season - as we often do around this time. Could be wrong though!

The only reason I thought he meant in the future was Stephen expressed he would be sitting down with Drummy and the staff to discuss the new recruitment requirement!
Whatever, if it works this season or the future, good stuff.
Freddie made a breakthrough last season and will only get better, so more from him and his younger colleagues please!

There were 2 players blurred out on tonights video I am still certain one is the lad from Blackburn especially as in the match they were playing he seemed to be a defender.

I thought it was said last week that we had another keeper but from that video it didn't seem like it.

Deff need a Centre Midfielder and one that has league one experience.
