Ipswich 2 Morecambe 2 [Stockton x2]

Not all that impressed by Ipswich so far, they've got clear quality but they seem quite "lazy". Not much attacking movement, letting the ball bounce at the back

Just to be clear on backpasses, it has to come from the foot so kneeing it back doesn't count as a backpass. Clearly our players know the rules!

It's going! Watching the match best as I can, but got a sick kid here.

We do not look like a League 1 debut team. This is good stuff!

Well every single one of us would have taken a point at the start, certainly shows we can scrap with the big boys!

Good point and yet, two dropped. Ipswich celebrated like an FA Cup final win.
Played some good football. Happy journey home even though disappointed.

Cruel game this football.

But to go to Ipswich one of the favourites for promotion and get a point and being so close to all 3 should make every Shrimp fan proud of its club.

Plenty for SR to work on but his tactics worked almost to a man.

We will learn from this defeat so not too down hearted.

Safe journey home to the 300

Despite the late goal feeling like a bit of a sucker punch, I doubt that anyone wouldn't have taken a point against the favourites to win the league. I thought we limited them most of the game and our attacking play was positive. Play like that for the rest of the season and we'll be absolutely fine!

Agreed, a draw is a great result, but after that wonderful performance against top dogs Ipswich it was a shame that we couldn't hold on. Bodes well for the future. I think other teams will sit up and take notice. Mighty Morecambe are here to stay.

A word of caution...it's very very early days. ...but let's celebrate such a magnificent performance.

Blackburn away Tuesday and then it's our first home game in EFL1.... :D :D :D

FANTASTIC RESULT AND PERFORMANCE

Can’t wait to get to the Mazuma next weekend

Always tough to concede in injury time but we would have all taken 2 - 2 this morning

Well done to all the players management and supporters
