Sounds as though it's live from Ipswich with Derek Quinn.

Not sure who is co commentating with DQ...certainly never heard from him before.

Enjoying his contribution which sounds very knowledgeable.

Great coverage. Beyond Radio went off when the match started.

We didn’t go off, we just can’t broadcast the match itself online.

BBC Lancs can’t either. It’s not allowed by broadcast rights regulations and radio stations can only do commentary on ‘on air’ (FM, AM or DAB).

The guy with Quinny was Mick Payne - he does a lot of summarising for Lancs on a number of clubs.

Hope you enjoyed the action wherever you caught it!

I listened on iFollow and very much enjoyed it. Thought the commentary was good - did I hear right that there would be some kind of podcast produced after every match?

Yes I tied listening through my phone. Then tried listening on the radio DAB. Can you listen to match commentary on DAB on Beyond Radio?

Hi Bill,

The radio is just on FM at present, but there are plans to go onto DAB in the coming months.
