Yes , a very good CV and a few seasons at Championship level as well as League 1.

A good bit of Championship and L1 experience, which is positive.

Some mixed reviews from fans, although seems like he had a decent spell with Wigan last season. Also, I think as a fan base we know better than most after last season not to be too concerned by what other fans are saying about players we sign!

I've just had a chat to a Leeds fan about him. They don't rate him, although the fan I was speaking to mentioned the caveat that he often got played out of position at right back and looked quite uncomfortable there.

Must have had good Schooling and looking at his CV no reoccurring injury concerns.

On 31 July 2015, Wootton was given the number 4 shirt for the 2015–16 season. On 12 August 2015, Wootton started in a new role under Uwe Rösler as a defensive midfielder

must be a good footballing defender to play that role.
