Local Choice Suite layout suggestions

Local Choice Suite layout suggestions

Postby redrobo » Sun Aug 15, 2021 12:57 pm

The new arrangements for usage by some fans of the Local Choice Suite and in particular the area used pre match and half time for a drink and a pie could do with a slight change to its layout.

The positioning of the catering area could be moved to the area to the left of the bar which would require some lighting but would provide more area for fans to congregate by the relocation of the catering area.

A number of 'regulars' commented about the lack of space now available now that the hospitality area has been enlarged but by a simple relocation of the catering area it would provide additional space. Also the large circular table used for scouts could be replaced with a smaller table to provide even more circulation space.

Maybe worth a look at by the powers that be..... :?: :?: :?:

Not enough room there as the ceiling slopes, so you can't stand up where the chairs are located. This is a walkway for bar staff and access to the back room, so you just couldn't have the catering there.

My observation is I can understand limiting the number of people in the LC bar, but would only include this pre kick off and half time.
After the game there was hardly anyone in as quite a few that could gain entry were separated from other friends and family who werent allowed up, so they just ended up going home.
Was a shame that most of the hospitality area was empty after the final whistle not helped by the lack of a M.O.M. presentation for obvious reasons.

No doubt the powers that be will be making observations and carrying out a few changes here and there

As a resident of the bigger part of C2 with a Local Choice pass I now have to enter via turnstiles 1&2 ,come out into stadium , along the front of the stand , up the steps to about row C-F , along the row and finally up the step ( showing my pass to the Elvis lookalike) and into the LC Suite. Why was the bottom corner cordoned off and patrolled like the North Korean border ? . Is it COVID restrictions or a new permanent fixture, if so I feel sorry for those in rows C to F !

You can't walk along the concourse behind the media now, the right hand door at the top of the steps gets you to hospitality, the left hand to the bar only

The left hand door is only accessible from C1 , C2 you have to walk in on the pampered corporate lot across the room and down the rear corridor ! .

I’m not in the situation to be anywhere near the LC Suite, but is constructive criticism not allowed on here before a civil war develops?

Fans both new and old are trying out this new matchday layout and experience and now is the time to make a good impression and act quickly to suggestions before some of the initial feel-good factor for the (especially for the new fans!) may be lost!

Hopefully the catering outlets (selling chips as promised! ;) ) will be full-swing on Tuesday, roof behind the Bartercard looks to be getting sorted, and apart from some teething issues with ticketing (and the now infamous ‘not sold-out’ sold-out seating area!) we’ve got nothing else to complain about!
