4-3-3 / 3-5-2

Early days in the season and under Robbo’s management but I felt that game was crying out for a change just like Blackburn. Cole was so isolated. I thought the change against Rovers worked a treat and whilst he will have his reasons for not repeating it tonight just showed when you put 2 on Stockton we are half the force.

Positives tonight has to be our spirit and work rate. Couldn’t fault us defensively

fair point, with 3-5-2 we could of packed the midfield and got somebody along side Stockton .

With injuries to other forwards / strikers then Cole will continue to be our only option. Other forwards are not goal scorers BUT hopefully with the return of Aaron he will be able to continue where he left off last season, scoring more goals from midfield.

Until the return of at least one of the injured SR's options up front are limited to say the least.
