McGloughlin is so versatile he probably could play on the right of a midfield 4 so yeah possibly 442!

Bizarre second goal for them, Andresson & Lavelle collided and the ball broke free. Some suggestion that Lavelle was pushed, although to be honest, I didn't see it but VAR may have ruled it out.

Substitute ref playing for them. I was very disappointed in the crowd, when the first ref went off injured... Surely the perfect time to start a chant...

YOU'RE NOT FIT TO REFEREE!

We're still in this and playing well.

Yes, Jacobsen's first - he brought the ball under control with the inside of his elbow deliberately and his second he pushed Lavelle into Andresson. Both would have been ruled out with VAR (I think but will never know.....).
The officials were very lenient with the amount of shoving and pushing that Preston were allowed to get away with.
Some really good performances out there tonight. No shame for us to lose in that way.

Another good performance, every game under Robbo so far the lads have clearly given everything they can on the pitch. Unlucky with the first half goals, particularly the second. Felt we could have gone on and won it until their 4th.

And time-wasting.
And cheating.
And fouling.

I also thought the deflection that they almost scored an own-goal from, had come off his arm, in which case, why didn't we get a penalty?

We matched them everywhere but upfront. They were so sharp and dangerous upfront compared to our slow build up play in and around the box. The only real time we hit them at pace was when Cole scored another fantastic goal.

I do feel that when it clicks for us we will be a very good side and it will be great to watch but it does frustrate at times at the minute.

Another brilliant effort by the supporters, don't think we have ever had noise from all 3 sides before.
