The ShrimpsTrust podcast, with the Gaffer, it’s a belter, enjoy. If there were any doubts about this man, this will dispel them. https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/s ... 1580496415

Fantastic listen like always

I could listen to the gaffer all day what a great guy

Sounds like new player incoming

Also sounded like Mcpake played at Blackburn yesterday so not gone away with Scotland ???

The best comment in the whole interview was a 'throwaway joke' at the end.

Stephen said, he keeps doing the lottery... "I might be able to afford to buy a house in Morecambe then"... I don't know what his personal life is like (married etc?) but looking to buy property in Morecambe doesn't sound like he's setting himself up for a quick move on to somewhere else!

He did say previously he was going to move into the area and believed in living near the club so you can get a feel for what the place is like.

If he thinks Morecambe is expensive he should look at prices in South Lancaster :o I suppose prices in Scotland are a lot cheaper.

I could listen to him talk all day a fascinating insight into how he works.

Wonder who the head of recruitment will be.

What a top bloke our manager is and if there was an Olympic games for talking sense he'd win a Gold....... no problem.....maybe could give me some lessons ;)

We are blessed to have this level of insight into the goings on at the club. Charlie Appleyard LOL. Very dry sense of humour. Said with a straight face ' Perhaps our biggest achievement this season is that we now serve chips in the ground'.

Thanks to all of you involved in bringing this to us, superb entertainment.

Thanks for support as always. We keep thinking we might run out of things to chat about, but something always pops us.
Episode 11 next week, more guests and plenty of behind the scenes updates hopefully!! :)

Freez could you let us know in advance who is on and then we can post questions and maybe you pick 2 or 3 to ask, as don't want it to be a full 60min QandA.

I would like to have known more about how SR is finding the area etc also how did start working with DoC and get to know him.

A good way to develop the interactive element. Perhaps start a thread on here for 'Episode 11' once guests are known?

Having Diarmuid O'Carroll & the gaffer on regularly, interchanging with each other, with Charlie could be a good way forward too?

Some good ideas, and to be fair we will be having more Trust members on weekly, so hopefully they can ask the questions themselves?
As it stands we are only finding out who we have on around a couple of hours before, that’s not to say that won’t change hopefully, but this week we do know who we hopefully have, but it’s not yet confirmed. So it’s a tricky one and we hope to improve on this.
If anyone fancies coming on, by all means, drop me a PM, as Bristol Shrimp already has and we will have him on soon!
Thanks for the ideas!! :D
