Strange seeing so many empty seats again after so many great attendances!

Nothing much happened so far.

Wootten looks good on the ball(for a defender) as does new signing Mcglaughin at R/B

only 30 mins gone but i feel Kyle Letheren looks more commanding in goal and wants the number 1 shirt back.

Kyle also noticeably vocal, game needs a bit of potion to liven it up.
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think

We've had loads of possession and endeavour but I can't recall a shot on goal. Everton have their first shot after 60+ minutes, and it is in the back of the net.

Need to get shots on target.

Wes McDonald looks excellent.

Price off for Gnahoua on. Would love to see Arthur get a goal to boost his confidence. He was my MotM on Saturday and he's been getting better with every game.

Ryan picking up another silly booking. He'll be looking at a ban soon if not careful.

[Edit] I don't think yellow cards carry across competitions, only red cards.

Any positives from the game ... Quite embarrassing losing to an under 21s team but hey ho

Maybe in the minority, but this cup does nothing for me. Fringe players played, good for fitness, Saturday and staying in League one is FAR more important than tonight.

I thought Alfie got booked not Ryan C
Wes looked good, so did Mensah and wootton
midfielders were strong
Positive performance unlucky result, cannot think of many shots Everton

We missed someone holding the ball up up top really. Lots of possession, couldn’t make it stick in final third. They scored with their only real chance.

Wes good again and I’d imagine he’ll start on Saturday.

Jacob looked composed alongside Scott at the back. Ryan Mc will get sharper.

Courtney Duffus has a serious thigh injury similar to Jon Obika’s and is out for ‘months’. We’re cursed up front. Jonah is 10 days away. Cole is our only fit striker.

Adam Phillips twisted his ankle in training last week but should be ok for the weekend.

Pod out in a bit!

We just have to keep battling away till we get some strikers back

Ayunga and Obika will make a massive difference

It had a bit of a feel of a pre-season game in some respects, but a good workout for many fringe players, some of whom will now be giving the boss a headache, but in a good way. Wes McDonald is probably at the head of the queue for a start in the League, but a few others wouldn't look out of place either. Wildig had another good run out after a long injury, so it will have done him good. Didn't deserve to lose, but equally, never really looked like scoring, despite a lot of possession in dangerous areas.

Without an experienced striker on display the result was not unexpected.

Young Price needs to be loaned out to aid his development but it looks as though to date that there has been no movement which is surprising in that every team at every level is looking to improve its goal scoring prowess.
