It hasn't been a "woeful performance" at all. The ref missed the most blatant penalty decision and McDonald missed a one-on-one, so we could have been 0-2 by half time.

It had to be us that the bottom club beat. Shocking refereeing robbed us of a penalty that would have deflated them. We would have gone on to win it. Set piece cost us again! Gutted again.

Did not deserve to lose that game, although how many times can we say that? McDonald needed to score when one-on-one and the referee missed a blatant penalty. If you've not seen it, you'll be amazed at how obvious it was. We could easily have been 0-2 by half-time. We need to be more clinical & creative, but the ref won the game for Doncaster.

We need to get our crap together soon though, our good start has now been wiped out.

Stonewall pen would’ve changed the game, however yet again we’re talking about conceding a set piece. When we get in the final third, the players don’t look like a well-trained unit, too many sloppy passes or misunderstandings. We trained for weeks on set pieces and have conceded 5 in our last two league games. Is SR not getting the message across to the lads on the training pitch? Even if we had another top quality forward option up there, would our delivery have actually been good enough?

Doncaster had very little quality in that game but they did the bare minimum right and well done to them. 6 losses out of our last 7 and the other was, as SR said himself, fortunate.

I’m confident we can turn this around, starting in Cheshire on Tuesday.
