Could have been 2-0. Andersson saved well, one-on-one. Not looking good in the first 8 minutes, need to improve massively.

Certainly grim, both the weather and the football!

I have mixed feelings. It is worth a decent wedge of cash (£10k for each win) and more if you progress. But equally, going out early, and keeping players fit while concentrating on the League is a good move.

Just noticed Stephen Robinson going crazy in the technical area. Safe to say he cares about this game!

That was quite the goal.

We've looked the better team since. Hope we can capitalize before Hartlepool can recover.

Great goal. Now let's get stuck in and win it. Tricky conditions but we are settling in now.

You do the finish an injustice! It was a really high quality goal, a lovely lob over the keeper, dropping just under the bar.

Thought that may be the case!

Under the cosh in the first ten minutes of second half. Their lad contrived to miss, blazing over from literally four yards out! We've not had a shot yet, this half.

It is very difficult to judge anything from this performance so far. It is obviously a team not used to playing together, and the conditions aren't helping. We definitely need another goal but they look more likely to score as it stands.
Just keep it tight and save us from penalties.......

Not sure what this team is for Hartlepool? If this is their regular first team [bar a couple] then this is a good performance, but if it is mainly their fringe, squad players, then it isn't good.

Another great one-on-one save from Andresson.

If they could finish, we'd have lost heavily.
