Early kick-off's are great, I get to start ignoring my work even earlier.

Who said Stockton would be rested? Pretty full team except for those on international duties.

Decent first half. I'm actually a bit surprised by the number of chances we've had.

Could see this ending nil-nil and going to pens at this rate.

Not a great few minutes but this is about where I expected us to be. Suspect Carlisle might sit back now and we'll get one later on.

0-2 this time from a corner. Mendez has made a couple of good saves. Very poor since half-time.

Carlisle , a team that couldn't buy a win until Saturday when they beat a lower league team and they are running rings round our almost first team !

We’re really not very good at the Football League Trophy. Have we ever got out of the group stages?

We don’t seem to be improving and in fact we are deteriorating rapidly. Not only do we need players in the transfer window but we need to see some impact from the manager. He doesn’t seem to be able to improve players with his coaching. He seems to analyse performances but no evidence of any impact.

In some respects I hope our game against Buxton isn't televised if this is the rubbish we are dishing up !

Buxton will fancy their chances. We are not looking like a League 1 club.

I got shot down on Saturday for saying we rode our luck and a league 1 team would have put 2 or 3 past us.

We need as many league games called off as possible and not rearranged until after we have some new players in Jan.

The only good thing to take from this, is that we played our youngsters and fringe players.
