Buxton sold their remaining 'general sale' tickets last night - you had to attend the game to purchase them, as they sold them inside the ground. The Bucks had a home attendance of 710 for a 1-1 draw vs. Nantwich Town.
If you look back at the crowds they were getting before their FA Cup run, a Tuesday night fixture in October attracted 317.... and you can see a similar trend to their Saturday games.... crowds have effectively doubled!
I think "2020/21 + Current" season ticket holders that apply will all get one - but a ballot will take place for applicants that only have a "Current" season ticket. Say 600 apply in total (I think this is a reasonable guess - many won't want to go because its on TV etc - plus if they couldn't be bothered going to Wembley, its hard to imagine them being interested in Buxton), and its an even mix in both categories - then assuming all 400 tickets go to paying fans (and they absolutely should do!), you'll have a 1 in 3 chance of getting a ticket if you are in the ballot.

I just hope they know which people in the first application process also had a 2020/21 ticket, so those that qualify don't have to apply again
There are no excuses for getting stuff like this wrong now! The club have appointed a full-time member of staff to manage the ticket office, and a general manager to oversee this.
I will be thoroughly pissed off if I'm not in the correct ballot and miss out on a ticket as a result of this. I actually emailed the club to make it abundantly clear that although I have 3 season tickets in the application, 2 of them are for the current season - but one qualifies for the first category (I also told them that they spelt Morecambe incorrectly in the subject line of the second email confirming details). Obviously I didn't get a response.
Not sure how the ballot will work for families - imagine your other half getting a ticket in the ballot, but you miss out! Or your kid gets one - seems unlikely that they'd be able to attend unaccompanied.
