didn't think this was allowed in the UK, like you can only have for example an Adidas shirt with “Sharp” the only sponsor on the front of the shirt?

unlike France where they’ll have like up to three sponsors on a shirts

Welcome to our family.

Recommend you do a bit of googling Neil.

Probellum is heavily linked to mtk globals boxing rebrand

Mtk global is allegedly run by Daniel kinahan.

Do a bit of googling on Daniel kinahan. Welcome to the family indeed.

Why attack the messenger....shouldn't you be asking the club if they are aware of a potential concern.

Not a great company to be tied to if you do some research as SupermarketShrimp suggests. There was a Panorama programme dedicated to MTK and it's alleged owner, worth a watch.

I wonder if Tyson's gym being in the ground had anything to do with us being on their radar.

Wrong..... :!: :!: :!:

But it's only one game....if it was permanent then I can understand the concern but if our club are happy to go with it....then so am I.

There are bigger things to worry about in the world of sponsorship ie Gambling that some clubs are connected with...

Think that’s very harsh, however I do agree one game is one too many.

If we plastered a betting logo over our shirt for one game, would we be happy? No. So the same stands when discussing a potentially dodgy sponsor.

He/she only ever comes on to abuse RedRobo , I cannot recall him/her passing comments about how the team are playing.

This seems very much like bullying and I wonder if Admin could take some action !

Totally agree about the exposure gambling companies get through football but comparing that to a sponsorship deal with a firm with links to an alleged Irish Mobster is a bit of a stretch.

i think everyone posting should just calm down here
lets look at the facts these guys are also very well connected to MTK global
who are very much part of tyson furys team many a morecambe fan would love some of his money and many a million there is invested in the team also mtk are part of isaac lowes promotion team
isaac who is a avid loyal supporter of the club who just so happens to be fighting tonight in a pre world title fight
lets look at the positive and see what these people can bring in a positive manner to the club
all sounds very positive and sensible with a potential ( i say potential ) long term plan

As a Glentoran fan (season ticket holder when I lived in Belfast) I was interested to see that Probellum's owner is Ali Shams Pour, who owns the Glens. Maybe this is the beginning of something bigger https://www.espn.co.uk/boxing/story/_/i ... ia-company

However, the alleged connections to MTK are deeply worrying. The Kinahan-Hutch feud alone has led to the murders of 18 people, most of which were perpetrated by the Kinahan side. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hutch%E2% ... nahan_feud. Daniel Kinahan has been barred from the US as he's on the FBI's list of narco-terrorists. If a senior member of the IRA at the height of the Troubles started sponsoring Morecambe FC, there would be protests, but this guy who has ruined thousands of lives and is openly welcomed by so many.

I think the fight is live tonight on this yootoob thing I've found called iFL TV, we'll find out shortly, so that would mean 2 Morecambe sporting events live in less than 24 hours!
my main point is, if Isaac Lowe wins & gets a shot at the World, where would that fight be?

2nd Edit - yes live on iFL TV youtoob chanel, starting in 1 minute - 18.30hrs!
