I don’t understand the manager’s attitude towards Toums. He is quality but judged not good enough to start tonight’s game in a side that is struggling at this level. No sign of players being improved by the coaching staff is a huge worry.

Fleetwood, Crewe & Doncaster games in the next few weeks will decide how our season goes. Nine points from those games. Anything else will be a huge concern.

Horrendous performance which very little of anything to say.

Keeper IF we are allowed to release Jokkul.
Centre half ..obviously
Winger - Lets just get Mcpake back in for me. No need to go searching if he is back in training as reported.
DM - Yes I agree..but that would make 7 centre mids. That's too many. Who do we let got..I wouldnt like to let Callum or Alfie go myself. Going to struggle to strike a balance ..including with the budget

I'm keeping the faith and always will. It is very frustrating though to watch the way Sunderland are playing through our defence. We still have basically the same squad we started the season so well with.
How have we gone downhill so much? Sunderland are obviously a good team, but we have made it easy for them, they just take the ball off us with ease.

I think Andresson is out of contract at the end of the season. I would like to sign a better keeper but keep him as the number two with a view to signing him permanently as he's clearly got potential. I don't think Letheren is any better, but has the experience. I don't think either keeper is League One standard, but one of them is probably going to get better.

Well, Cole scored 13 in 40 league games last season and has scored 12 in 17 this, so arguably he's improved. Some of the others are possibly, simply, not good enough to improve?

Absolutely horrendous. Heard people say “if only we took our chances...” but we had a maximum of 2 chances all game. Sunderland had double figures of reasonable opportunities.

Disgraceful from the lot of them. Cole deserves better.

Nope no organisation at all at the back and the worrying thing is we seem to be getting worse with every game instead of trying to learn from our mistakes.

I can't believe we paid money for Ayunga :o

The main worry for me is we have conceded 28 goals in last 10 games

Keep the faith and see you all at Portsmouth saturday

Just got back on the Coach freezing, Ayunga pissed me off tonight, he struts around like that Pogba.

And cant understand Toums being on the bench.

Again we are to open with 4-3-3.

I think Ayunga as potential … look at his finishes against Wycombe and Plymouth

It’s a long long season and we are only half way through it

There is lots of teams struggling at the moment Doncaster, Bolton, Gillingham and Lincoln

First time SR has really dropped the ball with formation - not a good call at all to go 4-4-2 at the start. Rectified, but 2-0 down at that point already. Aside from that though, just utterly outclassed all night. Think SR has a fair point when he's said we haven't been properly pasted throughout a whole game yet, but tonight was the night that changed!

100% agree. And on the point you make Keith about Jokull - he's on loan, contracted for three years at Reading. Not sure what the clause in the loan would be. Neither Jokull or Letheren have consistently been up to it.

Winger, I hope McPake can inject a bit of something over December when he's back. Agree on DM as well, would be nice but I'm not sure there's room. McLoughlin's intensity will be massively welcomed back.

Yup, sorry, I thought he was out of contract at the end of the season, but he signed a new contract at the start of this season.

I accept what you are saying but the only potential Ayunga had tonight was to fall over before he achieved anything.
Can't name a player of ours who can take a player on

About time our manager stops talking a good game and changes the defensive line up especially in the centre OR is it the midfield not being defense minded :?: :?: :?:

Really poor tonight. Confidence looks shot. Worrying lack of effort, energy and press. Robbi has a lot to do on the training pitch. Need at least a couple of wins before Christmas but at least some winnable home match six pointers coming up
