Train too Euston then train to Tottenham Hale then train to Northumberland Park

Best station for away fans

I’ve been quoted £106.50 Blackpool to Northumberland Park

Just looking at the latest news from Tottenham with Covid etc and the Rennes game tonight being postponed and maybe also Brighton on Sunday its possible that by the time they play us it could be the Tottenham youth team that we come up against.

Looking at the tie from their perspective I can't see them calling it off even if half their first team squad go down with Covid as they will probably have a youth team who with a mixture of the first team could be too good for us. Remember Newcastle last season and Everton Youth this season. Both won their respective games....

We aren't one of the chosen TV games , not surprisingly , so presumably this means 3pm on the Saturday.

I went to Spurs ground a few weeks ago to watch NFL. If you are able to, its probably easier getting the tube from Euston to Seven Sisters then walk the rest of the way. Takes 20 minutes or so, but there are pubs, cafes, restaurants, shops etc along on the way. You can also change here for the overground to White Hart Lane (less frequent services), but it seemed like a lot of messing around when the stadium is just a mile to walk.

Same for the way back also. Transport was not as bad as getting out of Wembley, obviously not as many people - shouldn't be any problems getting to Euston for the 18:09 if people are travelling by train.

Just a word of caution for anyone booking train tickets and hotel rooms

Because the game isn’t on TV that doesn’t mean it’s a Saturday game … there is still quite a few games on a Sunday normally

I don’t think the BBC are doing the red button games this season, which we appeared on twice last year in Sunday fixtures vs Maldon & Tiptree + Chelsea. They don’t appear to be bothering with their goal zone coverage either so far, which was also on Sunday for a few seasons pre-covid. In round two only four games were played on Sunday - and two of these were broadcast live on terrestrial TV… assuming the other two had something peculiar with policing.

The club SLO announced on Twitter that MFC are still waiting for details from Tottenham. Hopefully it is on a Saturday with no TV coverage - I think this is the best way that the club can make the most money from the tie, and also less inconvenient for supporters travelling to London.

Football League clubs get 45% share of gate receipts net of costs - hopefully Spurs price the game reasonably and we can get an advance on the money to sort our team out!

Seven Sisters on the Tube from Euston was always my preferred mode, easy coming and going to on the High Rd. No Park Lane end for us this time, looking forward to seeing the new ground.

Yes , I've always got off the tube at Seven Sisters and walked a mile or so up Tottenham High Road.

I was told that NORTHUMBERLAND PARK is the best station for away fans at Spurs

Is that not the case ???

Wonder if we'll need the Covid app for proof of vaccination? Or will the card be enough to say you've had in my case 3 jabs?

I'm supporting Morecambe whatever team the Spurs put out.

The game against Brighton next Sunday has just been postponed so they will be building up a backlog of games to be played which may help our cause.

No point hoping for a reduced Spurs squad due to Covid; by the time of the game they'll all have recovered.

Typical 1st train Sunday is 10.48 so no chance of train travel, spurs nearly always play on Sundays so no real surprise. Wonder if will be any coach travel as a lot of people will want to go. How many tickets allocated I wonder

Get yourself to Preston and catch the one circa 9am. Approx 2hrs 30mins travel time. Not checked out Oxenholme (Kendal) but getting back seems no problem to Preston.
