Positives / Negatives

POSITIVES

Crowd over 4000 again

Clean sheet with makeshift defence (well overdue)

NEGATIVES

1 point at home

1 win in 12 (6 points from 36)

Hardly a shot on target

No goals scored in last 4 league games

Early season boogie as turned into a slow dance at the moment

Oh well back to my sick bed

Positives
We lost several games previously so …
We didn’t lose
We didn’t concede
We are fighting hard
We are in a new division with more savvy footballers and we are competing ok
Nobody wants to lose
We are sorted behind doors
The fans are still on board
We competed well today with only one recognised central defender!
We are in Division 1 not the Northern Prem
Plus, and this is massive …. We still have pie peas and gravy
Negatives
Working on it

I do think we need a decent striker to support Cole Stockton. In my opinion Duffus and Ayunga are not good enough for League 1. I appreciate that Obika is returning to fitness but must confess I haven't seen anything to encourage me that things will be different when he has a few more games under his belt. I hope I am wrong in this judgement but I haven't seen any real pace, any trickery, or any strength to trouble League 1 defenders.

totally agree Fullwood, sadly most of SR signings are not good enough for L1
