If we defended this resolutely against League one sides we’d be absolutely fine. Carson looks assured too

O'connor has been superb, even without the goal. Spuds had lots of possession but did nothing with it. This isn't against the run of play.

Huge 45 minutes coming up!

Don't care if the attachment is massive, enjoy it!

Definitely not their first team but still a lot of 'name' players.

Ok, if it stays like this, let's just take the experience back to the league and climb the table.

Two defensive cock-ups to give Spurs the game. Ah well, we dreamt for a while.

Yep. To be in it until the 80th. minute is a testament to the squad and management but I bet they're a bit disappointed still...

A great performance from our lads today. If we can take the confidence from this into the League matches we will surely climb away from the bottom.
WELL PLAYED YOU MIGHTY MORECAMBE REDS.

Things seemed to go wrong when he brought our subs on and Spurs had to resort to bringing their big guns on....

The new boy from Burnley gave his all but will fit in well alongside O'C....and Carson was excellent but looked on TV as though he and O'C had words.....

No complaints apart from when Obika came on, he doesn't work hard enough in pressing, to slow, it was a bit like playing with 10 men.

Sorry but he was like this the other week.

I have no idea about the subs would have kept it as it was until and brought fresh legs on if we made it to extra time, were the players we took off looking tired?

Agree Obika is really slow needs to show a big improvement as he is on a 2 year deal.

Great performance though especially the way we soaked up pressure why cant we do that in the league?

O'connor looks a different player when he has confidence in his CB partners he was imense in the first half.

Forget the stats. Very comfortable for most of the match and unlucky to lose. First ever goal in round 3 too. Much to be proud on and off the pitch.
