TV Local News Monday night

TV Local News Monday night

Postby redrobo » Sun Feb 06, 2022 2:45 pm

Will be interesting to see how each of the local TV stations report the trouble in Monday nights schedule programmes.

Wouldn't surprise me if our club gets all the blame with no mention of what happened after the game in particular the incident involving a disabled fan and the damage caused to a Train by the Bolton fans.

Maybe our club should seek an interview to give both sides of the story.... :?: :?: :?:

No mention of anything other than the alleged comment . In the past farmers were the main shit spreaders now it’s the media . Can’t bring myselfto watch the bbc shite !

BBC coverage was short but did say allegedly and also mention the throwing incident. Sounded fair and i had no problems with it.

Better than the ITV coverage then that had the Drama Queen Evatt interviewed coming all over like some sort of aggrieved victim and butter wouldn't melt. Really boils my piss! Does anyone know where I can get some therapy.

Wonder if we were approached for an interview. Bolton have obviously made the most of this and want to look all innocent. We need to be media savvy and make use of it. Hopefully the BoD will consider getting a tv response.

I don't know what our board could offer in the way of a response to that interview, their hand are tied while there's an open investigation into the racist abuse. Once the case has been concluded and the courts have come to their decision, then they can respond.

Depending on that result the club can confirm their committed stance to stamp out racism and stand firmly with Bolton..if on the other hand the case is not proven it opens up a whole new scenario that no one wants to think about....that a club has been deliberately economical with the truth......

I just hope that those around santa are prepared to give evidence to the police as it would appear that nobody heard the alleged racist remark. If they do then the case xould be dismissed due to a lack of evidence or they could prosecute the Bilton manager for waisting pilice time. :?: :?:

Evatt was a totally different person on granada reports to what he was like on Saturday, body language and all.
Done a great job to deflect their own behaviour
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think
