Must be one of Judas's better signings but never figured under his management. Derek obviously sees something in him and very much like Carlos who both have been given an opportunity to shine.
. Wonder if he will be the difference between our retention of EFL1 football or the lottery of EFL2. :?: :?: :?:

Still early days (think he's only started twice?) but I think we've been crying out for a player like Connelly who can run into the channels and really stretch a defence with his pace. Him, Stockton and Wildig/Phillips should work really well in a 'Derek Adams' counter attacking setup.

I remember the Fleetwood home game a few games ago when they had a right winger with electric pace and he ran us ragged for the best part of the game. Any winger with pace would be a distinct advantage in any DA set up so maybe giving Connolly his chance could be yet another master stroke by Derek as he did with Carlos.

There are a couple of reserve players who could well feature in next seasons squad under DA as well.

Looking forward to seeing how Connolly performs at home this afternoon.
