yeah, i liked how DA set up against Ipswich with Toums & Fane as stoppers infront of a back 4, suits us better than a back 5.

If I'm honest, I'm very surprised DA hasn't continued with Fane/Toums as a stopper in front of the backline. Thought Fane did a good job against Bolton too. Maybe he wants a bit more ability on the ball?

I thought one thing DA did well last year was clarity of roles for players, and I would have thought Fane stopper, Toums stopper but better on the ball, Phillips/Wildig as more free creative types would have been the way forward under him. With everyone fit, I'd like to have see:

Carson
AOC-Bennett-Bedeau
McLoughlin-Fane-Toums-Leigh
Phillips-Stockton-Wildig

Phillips was a bruised foot apparently so hopefully he'll be back for Wigan.

Quite genuinely, if, every time you see a reference to child abuse, no matter how obliquely, it reminds you of an event that still causes you trauma, then I'd strongly advise you to get some therapy in order to come to terms with the event.

It shouldn't have taken me to report it for it to be removed, shameful.

"Should know better"? I expect you to jump all over my posts, it is what you do, but why should I know better? Because I'm able to differentiate a 'joke' from 'the real world'? Did it really cause you offence? Of course it didn't. And if it did, then you should try watching the news and getting offended by real things that are happening in the world. But as you are so easily upset by me, to be clear...

Child abuse... ...very, very bad.
Jokes about child abuse... ...are jokes.

Wow. Maybe next time just try saying sorry?

If you were genuinely upset by the joke, then I am absolutely sorry.

Equally, if you were genuinely upset by the joke, because of something that happened in your childhood, then I honestly recommend talking to someone professional regarding the trauma. That is not being factitious.

You may not have found the joke funny.
You may have found it in poor taste.
But if it was upsetting, then that is a different issue completely.
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

When you're in a hole, stop digging. Just say sorry, accept you were wrong, and move on.
