Les Dewhurst Interview

This manages to be both a difficult watch and at the same time, a lovely video. Great to see Les up and about.

Possibly the best video on Morecambe's entire site.

So how did that work out then?

I'm an emotional person at the best of times and I don't mind admitting that I had a tear or three in my eyes watching that excellent video.

It's now up to the guys on the field on Saturday and for the remainder of this season to show their appreciation for all that Les does for them by securing our rightful place in EFL1.

Les, you are a credit to yourself, your family and to our club.

Will be good to see you back at the Mazuma on Saturday. :)

Les said he was expecting something special today...well he got it spot on.

So pleased as it looked as though the lads did for Les on the field.

:D

Let's hope we can do it v Oxford and if we do we'll go above Gillingham who have played a game more than us.

Gills lost in the 5th minute of extra time......similar how Bolton got an equalizer in the 5th minute of extra time v us a few weeks ago costing us a priceless 2 extra points.

I almost said, only half in jest, that Les having a heart attack was the best thing to happen to the club this season, as it really galvanised the players. I know some people don't do 'dark humour' but after another amazing performance, where every player put their body on the line and threw themselves in where it could hurt... ...sod it... they're doing this for Les!

Let's hope he doesn't have another one before the end of the season!!!

Happy to be your filter and yep I can confirm that would have been a bad decision! Well done.
