Really bright start. How was that not a penalty??? Story of our season. Need a goal while we're well on top.

Lots of possession and 6 corners against a poor looking Burton team. Why oh why can we not score?
COME ON YOU MORECAMBE REDS.

Have had a few absolutely golden chances, just the final touch missing.

Come on Morecambe!

How have we not scored??? Playing really well but just not quite falling for us. We need a goal.

This ref is giving us absolutely nothing.   I thought Connolly was fouled, we could have had two penalties.

Cole gets dragged back by the defender... ...obviously that's a foul on the defender

Then they took a quick freekick from nowhere near the foul (on Stockton) and are allowed to, letting them break.

What a lovely goal! Great move and a superb finish from Adam. His best game all season.

The players all went and celebrated with Les Dewhurst!

Superb first half of football.

Blimey Keith. Your comment about the players running to Les Dewhirst to celebrate almost had me in tears. THAT IS MORECAMBE FOOTBALL CLUB IN A NUTSHELL. Wow.

Great shot from Arthur. Keeper could only parry it back out and there was Cole! Easy tap in.

Great for our goal difference.

As it stands, we're three points behind, with a game in hand and the same goal difference!

We could have had three more already in the first 15 minutes of the second half!

Come on!

I have been critical of Phillips previously, saying he doesn't work hard enough and/or drifting out of games, but today, he's been absolutely fantastic. Wildig has been great too. Mind you, has anyone not been on it today?

Burton commentators calling for the floodlights, and being critical about the number of lights on each post. Let’s face it, they haven’t much else to comment on!
