Whatever he may not have managed to achieve during his short tenure, surely we should all be grateful for him bringing in Bedeau and Carson, both of whom have had an impact.

Or was it Head of Recruitment, Martin Foyle, that brought them in?

Bedeau and Bennett were brilliant last night you now don't worry when we concede a corner.

His January business was so much better than his summer madness. Maybe Foyle had a big input in that but you do have to credit Robbo. The likesof Bennett and Connelly may not have been given as much game time under him though whist Adams has turned them in to nailed on starters.

My feelings towards Judas are well known on this forum BUT must give him a wee bit of credit for his January business especially regarding Mr Carson. Would be brilliant if some way could be found to retain his services next season assuming that DA feels the same.

His retained list come May will be an interesting read...that's for sure. :!: :!: :!:

Summer was building a whole squad almost from scratch starting a month most other teams. January was targeting (very obvious) areas of weakness, and as has been mentioned with the extra help of a recruitment director. Robinson was well aware (as all of us were!) of the weak areas and did well in fixing them that month. While January is notorious for being a difficult window, it was at least very clear what the squad needed.

Carson has known Robinson for a long time and Bedeau was a target in summer, so I think we can be pretty certain they at the least were his targets. Although Martin Foyle I imagine would be a big help on the admin/talking to agents etc side of things.

Just noticed, as I was double checking what time England kick off, today's fixture in Scotland...

St Mirren v Motherwell.

I'm sure Robinson has promised St Mirren his loyalty and how he's embarked upon a five-year plan to develop the club...

...so Motherwell it is then!

St Mirren 0 Motherwell 1 at half time.

Edit. That's how it finished at full-time.

St Mirren where the better team but couldn't score, the motherwell goalkeeper had a outstanding day. Ayunga looked really good had some great runs on goal and should have had a goal..

A fans reply on Twitter to St Mirren posting at the full time whistle:

" Replying to
@saintmirrenfc
If you don't get that useless waste of space Robinson to f*ck I won't be spending a single penny at the club from today until you sack him! Praying now that Motherwell take him as the club hiring him as manager has been a DISASTER! Will be cancelling my monthly Direct Debit too "

He must have a hell of an agent !

I thought his failure at Oldham might have been an Oldham problem.

Can anybody work out his win % for Morecambe and St Mirren ?

Figures from Transfermarkt:
St Mirren, been there 180 days, played 18, won 5, drawn 2, lost 11
Morecambe, 260 days, played 41, won 10, drawn 9, lost 22
Motherwell, 1402 days, played 169, won 72, drawn 27, lost 70
Oldham, 187 days, played 33, won 8, drawn 10, lost 15.
So just about 25% win rate with us and Oldham, slightly better (so far) at St Mirren. It's the percentage of losses that's more telling though! Motherwell by far his most successful spell, think he's been trading off that ever since.

He must have finished his five year plan ages ago and be well overdue a move.
