You ain't kidding Bill! I know folk are worried about inflation and the increased cost of living but we all still need some entertainment and escapism in our lives. As value for money goes this has to be one of the best offers out there. Adult prices from six pounds something per game is a no brainer to me for the level we are now playing at.

I think if Cole signs a new contract it will be the catalyst for a surge in ticket sales but even without that we will hopefully sell around last seasons numbers.

WOW! So it is more expensive to watch Lancaster play Liversedge & Belper Town, than Morecambe play Sheffield Wednesday & Ipswich?

Last season was 1626 standing and 935 seated, total 2561. Current sales are at 12l5 standing and 1004 seated, total 2219. So at the moment we are 342 short of last year's total.

Cheers.

The totaliser hasn't been updated since the 30th June, hopefully we might have sold a few more since then.

There was something about the shop being closed for a day, while season tickets are prepared for collection, but I can't find the news story now, so I'm guessing the next few days.

If you had access to the Local Choice Suite last year with your season ticket make sure you take down last season's ticket. We just went to pick up our and our new season tickets didn't give us access for this season so they're having to reprint them....

Signing strikers is more fun and exciting no doubt, but we really need another midfielder before looking at a striker. Centre back is the absolute priority, then we need more cover in midfield. Adams plays one up top - Stockton first choice obviously, Obika's a pretty good deputy and it looks like he's got his burst of acceleration back, and Gnahoua as an emergency option. Connolly and Hunter can both be good options if he does decide to go two up top for the odd game.

At the moment, McLoughlin is our only back-up midfielder. After that we're reliant on full-backs who can do a job, but we need more midfielders. Torn over whether the priority should be a more defensive or a more attacking type.

I think Obika is a bit underrated as a deputy to Stockton. He's able to hold the ball up relatively well, has a decent strike on him and offers something a bit different to Stockton as well with his pace. But if either go, Quigley would be a good replacement - maybe a case of hedging our bets in case one of them does leave?

Latest figure is 2,402 sold. Going to be similar numbers to last season it would appear.

I was told last season that access was granted to L.C.S. as gratitude for moving my seat due to Covid. I've just picked my S/T up with nothing on it regarding access, not that I'm bothered. Don't be surprised if this the reply in the shop for this season.
