Today’s game

Today’s game

Lots to be positive about after today’s game. I thought our shape, our passing and our movement was excellent. Taylor, Shaw, Weir and Phillips were particularly strong and I have a lot of optimism going forward. Defence was also very solid and given a little bit of confidence I think we could be really hard to beat.

Yet according to some people after 30 mins of todays game we were not only down, but facing a battle to stay in league 2 next season. Clowns.

Football is all about opinions

Just because some fans disagree with each other does not make them clowns !!!

It does when we're 8 games in to a new season and we're being condemned to relegation and the possibility of being relegated again next season is being mentioned. Players and the manager (best we've ever had) doing an absolute brilliant job. Noticed that some people's opinions were deleted after we won yesterday. Fickle.

I don’t think we can be clear how the season is going to finish at the present time. We have played some of the better sides and we need to see how we get on against 10 or 11 sides like Forest Green or Cambridge. I suspect we are probably better than our current league position suggests and with Phillips Weir and Shaw staying for the season we should be okay.

There is no need to get personal though to be fair

I was panicking a bit before yesterday but certainly not writing the season off thats for sure

If we back up yesterday with a win against Cambridge then we will look much much healthier

And if we lose do we go back to the panic mode?

I don't think anyone is getting personal? I wasn't actually talking about you anyway haha. Seen loads of stuff on other socials saying it's time for Derek to go and we're doomed that's suddenly not there now...

Where? No opinions were deleted on here.

So how did that work out then?

I have specifically asked Bristol Shrimp earlier who he was referring to as 'clowns' but he hasn't had the balls to reply yet.

He also claims posts were deleted yesterday, which never happened.

Now who is the clown again?
