In celebration of the Papa John's sponsorship, I've just finished my Domino's pizza for tea.

Some bloke called Kyle Letheren on the Hartlepool bench. Wonder if he brought his missus with him, what with her having made so many friends in Morecambe?

Should have waited till I saw the kine up before making my prediction! Defence looks OK but can't see 3 goals coming from that team. You never know.

First half hour gone, struggling to see where a goal will come from on either side! Lots off huffing & puffing but no quality on either side so far.

I might go and join the wife and watch 'Bake Off'!

A poor excuse for a football match so far, hope the second half picks up.

I was going to say Bedeau & O'Connor were the only outfield players, playing okay in the first half, but Derek must have had a word with them at half-time, as they've joined the 'headless chickens' for the first five minutes of the second half!

934 in attendance. 70 something from Hartlepool. Well done to all of them, especially those who have managed to stay awake throughout. One shot on target from either side I think.

This game would send a glass eye to sleep. Don’t like to single players out but Obika is slow, weak and totally lacking any sort of enthusiasm! Appreciate he had a bad injury last season but will he ever add anything to the team?

Maybe Derek just really wants them to get more practice with penalties.

Break in play, with game stopped for some reason. Ref talking to Chief Steward. Excessively loud snoring in the Barter Card Stand?

Joking aside, hope no-one has been a dickhead in the crowd.

SHOCKING from both teams

84th minute, Weir has a shot on target.

Can't make my mind up whether I just want a goal, so we can finish this now, or stay 0-0 because the penalties may at least be interesting?

Cooney MotM. I think Bedeau or O'Connor were better, but no real disagreement. Back-to-back wins would have been a confidence boost but not to be.

Another penalty shoot-out.
