Burton have improved recently since sacking Hasslebaink so another tough game for lots of reasons (Beat Forest Green and drawn with Peterbrough)

Hopefully we might have 1 or 2 more players available

Burton 2 Morecambe 1

Att 2300 including 220 from Morecambe

We
MUST ATTACK THEM!!!

Mid-October and this really is a

MUST WIN GAME!!!

If we sit back and try not to concede, we will probably get beaten. Play on the front foot, like yesterday, and we have a really good chance of winning.

Give McLoughlin a start, instead of Fane. I like Fane for breaking play up, but some of his passing is awful. Ipswich could/should have scored from one of his appalling passes, that went behind everyone. Only Gibson being on his game, recovered the situation, and he could easily have been sent off, not just the wild challenge where he got booked, but later in the game, he slid in so late, that he not only missed the ball, but fortunately, missed their player too. Any contact there, and we'd have been down to ten men. What McLoughlin has to do to get a start, I don't know???

I've said why I prefer Cooney to Love, but I'm not too concerned about that position, so, swap Fane for McLoughlin, otherwise start with the same side as started yesterday, and attack from minute one.

Choice is...

0-3 Connolly & Phillips pulling the defence all over the place, slick passing football that we're capable of, Stockton to get a goal and look like he wants it, and we're all really happy!

Or, play for a clean sheet, Cole isolated up front on his own, with the ball hoofed up the pitch to Burton's defenders, and we lose 2-0?

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

I'll go for the change :D :D :D 0-3! :D :D :D

1-3 win.

I hope we play like we did yesterday. I know it's Away vs home, but should still be doable.

Different people slant their predictions for different reasons. Some give their prediction relating to what they believe will happen, others tend to follow their hopes! Realists and optimists! Others, like me are unsure and often just guess

You realise, this is the Prediction Competition thread? You've not entered the competition, so why is it an issue for you? Enter a prediction and we can see how you do compared to Potted Shrimp!

TBF Keith, redrobo has made a prediction this season, gaining 3 points by going for a 4-0 defeat in our away game against Peterborough which we lost 3-0.

No standing for Morecambe fans on Saturday at Burton

All away fans will be seated in the corner of the stadium just close to where the players enter the pitch

Both teams will think this is their chance to kick start the season, losers will be in the mire.
