Not sure I can testify to agreeing with the sentiment “just enjoy the ride”. I have been a Burnley season ticket holder for the last 10 years, and have to say that the last two seasons in the Premier League have been a far from enjoyable ride. Constant defeats and lack of goals has been a very hard watch, with virtually no enjoyment, and beginning to question attending. This season however, seeing goals being scored, home and away, and wins being recorded, has made it something to look forward to and not undertake as a sense of duty!!

Completely identify with the just turning up our of duty, I did it for years! Then something changed and we rocketed up to another league!! Full ground, big name teams coming to our little ground. Fantastic stuff. We survived, and now we are struggling a bit, but whatever happens I will always support the team in whichever league. Enjoy the roller coaster! coys
