As for Labour as usual borrowing, you do know Neil, that this current Conservative government have borrowed three times as much as every Labour government put together??
So dont spout nonsense unless it’s football :D

Did you miss Covid?

Virtually every developed country borrowed to spend huge sums of money to prevent complete economic collapse due to the covid lockdowns and restrictions, which badly affected economies and supply chains throughout the World. Do you honestly think Labour wouldn't have spent hundreds of billions to try to stop millions of people being laid off by their employers due to them not being able to operate as normal?

Not only that but Sir Keith Starmer wanted longer lock-downs which would have killed the economy even more and meant much more borrowing.

Apologies... It was 5p per litre reduction in fuel duty. You probably didn't notice as apparently less than half was passed on.

Not true. Following scientists' advice would have led to fewer infections and avoidable deaths and probably coming out of lockdown earlier. Instead, we had 'eat out to help out', resulting in a fresh spike in infections and people dying. Obviously, parties were still acceptable if you were Prime Minister, helping to keep Bargain Booze in business.

Starmer wanted the last lockdown to go on and on and some of his colleagues wanted the Furlough scheme to run on indefinitely , they probably would still have it running. The train drivers benefited from that scheme and repaid everyone with strikes !

Starmer had the advantage of a Labour PCC to lean on and make sure no FPN's were issued for his party. His party which at first he said there were about 6 people present and that Rayner wasn't present. And when witnesses started talking he had to admit there were about 20 present and lo and behold he had to admit Rayner was present. How on earth he could forget she was there is hard to comprehend. He lied but MSM were only interested in somebody surprising Boris with cake in a tupperware box !

UK debt, by percentage of GDP in 2009/2010 (end of Gordon Brown as Prime Minister) was 62.4%
UK debt, by percentage of GDP in 2019/2020 (before COVID-19) was 82.7%

After a decade of austerity measures, debt had increased massively.

And would have also increased massively under Labour (as per their manifestos etc). Don't forget that Milliband's manifesto also included austerity/cuts etc!

You should be on the stage, you're so funny!

Any evidence to support your claim that Starmer interfered with the police investigation? Please, let's see it.

Johnson wasn't just at one party with a birthday cake! I know he's incompetent, but he reckons he didn't know about parties in Number 10, even when he was in the building? He even hosted a Christmas quiz!

Classic whataboutism that Ken.
All if and buts.
Covid arrived after the Tory’s had already doubled the amount of borrowing but don’t let that fact spoil your argument.
And I’m not going to bother listing the crapshow of waste and cronyism during COVID that Tory arselickers condone.
No government is perfect, but keep waving the flag for Liz Truss, and denial of Boris and his clusterfuckery and then a laughable attempt at benefits of Brexit. Pork me, the country is sinking and some daft buggers are re-arranging the deckchairs!

Are you not denying that Starmer lied about how many people attended his party and that The Ginger Growler was also present which he denied until witness's came forward. They enjoyed curry and beer at the Durham Party , and yet a piece of birthday cake is deemed more serious.

Starmer is the Donald Love of politics

It was work. They were allowed to eat. They stuck to the rules. The police investigated and said there was no case to answer.

Johnson got pissed. Regularly. With other people. And karaoke. And a quiz. Not just a bit of birthday cake.

Are you trying to plot a return for the liar-in-chief?
