Totally different line up against Barnsley

Didn't play well tonight but got through the group that is more than some massive clubs have done

To be fair to Harrogate they played fairly well in my opinion but should have rolled over and let us win 5 nil lol lol

Certainly the potential for one of the lowest crowds of the competition, given the waterboys poor home crowds and the fairly long distance to travel for the away supporters.

We have had far worse teams than this in last 20 years

Taylor, Ripley, Delaney, Rawson, Hunter, Stockton all not involved tonight

You win cups by progressing thats what we have done

Delaney started :?

The shouts for Derek to go are getting louder and louder after each game, sad to see fans turning on him after all he has done for us, but I do get why people have had enough now. We need to start having a proper go at teams now, this defensive football isn't doing us any favors at all.

Without the bonus point for penalties rule...

Everton U21......Won 1 Drawn 2 Lost 0 Points 5
Harrogate.........Won 1 Drawn 1 Lost 1 Points 4
Hartlepool........Won 1 Drawn 1 Lost 1 Points 4
Morecambe.......Won 0 Drawn 2 Lost 1 Points 2

Good job we weren't taking it seriously!

Clearly the penalty rule has saved the day, not sure how many we will take to the next round on a Tuesday, there's more confidence in Truss being PM at Christmas

To be honest i'm not sure how many will bother going to The Mazuma come Christmas. To me it's all about entertainment and i'm afraid there isn't any and i honestly don't see where it's going to come from. There was glimpses against Ipswich, but they seemed to have faded into oblivion.

IF your prediction is correct then for me the BoD have to act so that any decline in attendances isn't protracted and develops into a serious issue.

The BoD can't hope that things will improve because any dramatic drop in attendance is as much down to on field performances as much as the lack of entertainment which at the end of the day is what football provides.

For many their day to day living costs are escalating and whilst to some football is an escape from the daily grind of having to cope with life, football is an expense than can become a luxury that can easily become a financial casualty

Attendances arent going to drop that much especially with teams like Derby, Barnsley and Portsmouth visiting the Mazuma before Xmas

Let's get behind the manager, team and club and maybe we might turn this round

I would hope attendances would hold up, partly because of the quality of opposition, partly because most people got a season ticket, so may as well go.

And, I hope everyone gets 100% behind the manager, and the players while they are on the pitch.

But also, I hope that something changes, because currently, we don't look like we'll get another win all season. Let's at least go down fighting, who knows, we might actually win!

Shaw was a sub because he had a black & blue foot after 'we' damaged it under the advertising boards when celebrating our goal at Burton
