First league start this season ( I think) and a full 90 mins of quality . Deffinately MOTM today , surely Derek has to start him now ahead of Love !

He had an excellent game. The inch perfect tackle, which if he'd got even slightly wrong, it would have been a goal or a penalty, was game changing, and his support of attack, including long throws, caused chaos in their defensive areas. Definitely MotM.

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?

Must surely start now in preference to Love......who for me contributes very little other than allowing his winger too much space .... :?: :?: :?:

I do hope this performance encourages D.A. to remove him from the transfer list. A real difference.

I would take both Cooney and Delaney off the transfer list. Both give 100% commitment to Morecambe on and off the field and why would we let another club have good players.

To be fair O'Connor and McLoughlin also play really well when called upon.

We just need a bit of a tweak in January , maybe let Obika move on and sign a striker , is Quigley only on loan at Rochdale ? Also will Cole move for what will be a small fee and sign another striker.

Ryan wasted a year of his career last season for whatever reason. Love deserved to start over him due to the condition Ryan was in. Fair play to the lad for getting his head down and forcing his way back in to the team and performing like he did yesterday.

The fact is that Cooney came back fitter and lighter after the summer break according to the staff, but DA has given Love his chance, as he signed him. Fair enough.
So Ryan has just had to wait to get his chance and hopefully has now taken it.

He needed to because his fitness last season was shocking and Derek had every right to play the more professional Love. Like i say, fair play to Ryan and i hope he keeps it up.

Just hope DA keeps Ryan in the team and not revert back to his match day captain who didn't look bothered about being out of the team yesterday in the pre match warm up.

Still feel that we need Callum Watts in the team as he gives us something different.

How should he have displayed his dismay? By spending 15minutes firing balls at the Defenders in the warm up so they could practice their heading and holding a line?
