Opposition goals

Opposition goals

Yet ANOTHER goal conceded by a shot from inside the box. Lost count of how many this season but bet that the majority of opposition goals have come from shots inside the box.

For me it shows that we don't close down enough in such a critical area.

I want DA to succeed and was delighted when he was reappointed BUT unless there is a dramatic change in style then our record of never being relegated is in serious jeopardy and with DA's contract up for renewal at the end of this season we could be facing another close season of yet another managerial change and all that goes with that.

It's not that long ago that you were complaint about the amount of goals that were scored from outside the box.I'd have thought that it was inevitable that most goals are scored from inside the box as that is where the best chance of being on target is.

Just a pity that in our case NEITHER of the above relates to our game...... :(

That's disappointing as I don't think that anything I said was inaccurate.

However I accept that you and possibly others profoundly disagree with my assessment so to boycott my future posts is your prerogative but your thoughts and opposition at times will be missed.
