A somewhat negative line up for this one.....but at least Calub Watts gets a chance to show what he can do from the off....BUT personally i would have liked to see Adam Mayor on from the start with Love in his rightful place....on the bench...

A tough one in prospect but if we can escape with a point then that will have been a good afternoons work.

Pre-match, when I saw the line-up, I agreed with you, but opening 15 minutes, Love has played well in midfield, and supporting the defence, but also played a lovely ball to Watts, who has had the best chance of the game so far, although unfortunately, he didn't connect well enough.

Wycombe have sliced us open a couple of times in quick succession. Excellent cross, then a good header, but they should have scored a minute earlier.

I’ve got a suggestion for Derek! Why not go away from home and try to WIN the game rather than being ultra defensive! Problem is once you set up to be defensive it’s very hard to revert lbs more attacking line up and style of play. We might have got away with it in league 2 going a goal behind but in this league the teams have much better defences. Needs to be a change of style of play or we will cast too far adrift at the foot of the table at Xmas to avoid certain relegation which is the direction we are heading at present. I’m

I suspect that confidence is at an all time low after coming so close in a number of games.

I know that a previous post of mine upset a certain someone but I continue to believe that come Christmas our excellent BoD may have to make a decision about continuing with DA . Our survival in EFL1 is critical for the future of OUR club even IF a certain well known local celebrity takes over the ownership.

I sincerely hope that DA can work his magic once again but time is running out and we are very close to being adrift from those above in the league.

When we do get forward, we look lost, pass from side to side as if we don't know what to do with the ball! Where will a goal come from? Just hope they can step up in the second half.
