I agree, I don't really rate Obika, but having seen Cole's recent "performances", it's time to give him a try again, after all, he can't be any worse.

As for Mayor, not sure if he's got the experience to start just yet, I think he's close, he's certainly got the skill-set, but he's still a little bit raw and starting against a decent team like Derby may be a step too far. I'd bring him on as a sub, maybe 60 minutes or so to give him half an hour, or maybe even half time.

Totally agree. Build him up slowly, rather than risk damaging hiss confidence (although, he looked full of confidence on Saturday!) Bringing him on and making a huge impact is good enough for the moment.

Probably a bit too soon for me, and I don't think Phillips or Watts deserve dropping after Wycombe. Watts in particular was excellent.

Great that we can have confidence in him coming off the bench and potentially making a difference though.

Totally agree but I suspect DA will change it for tonights game bringing back Fane to do the dirty stuff which for me would be a back wards step considering the number of needless free kicks he gives away in dangerous areas.

Watts give us that extra bit of quality and the unknown at times which puts an oppositions defense in a situation of having to use a player to counteract him....BUT I know nowt about tactics.... :o

Yeah I think Fane is pretty nailed on to come back in given Love is suspended and we'll need someone doing some property dirty work against a side like Derby. I'm assuming we'll stick with 3-5-2 so still room for Watts and Phillips though. I'd guess:

Ripley
Rawson - Bedeau - Delaney
Cooney - Shaw - Fane - Weir - Gibson
Phillips - Watts

I like that team, however, I think O'Connor had a good game on Saturday, so perhaps deserves to keep his place? Also, having been a critic of Love (or, more to the point, preferring Cooney) I thought Love had a good game on Saturday, so while he's obviously not available tonight, I'd like to see him back on Friday, instead of Fane. He can offer some protection to the defence, similar to Fane, but can play a better pass.

He didn't hide or back out of any challenges. He ran at players and got shots away. Very impressed with the boy, one of our own

Looks as if he maybe in demand soon but let's try to hang onto to him for as long as possible!

I loved Mayors performance last night, he played with no fear, and didn't look out of place against a top team. He is only going to get better and better, and he gives us something different! we need to sign him down to a longer contract, that has to be a priority.

Completely justified his place in the starting lineup last night, excellent performance. Worked incredibly hard and also displayed a few moments of really good quality - some of his pass selections and execution was superb. As others have said, did not look at all out of place against a Derby side that had some very high quality players.

Let's hope he hasn't got the same agent as Stockton, getting in his head and ***king it up

Adam was excellent last night BUT we have to get him on an extended contract as a matter of urgency otherwise some club will take him in the January window.

Surely we can afford this extra wage and gamble that he will be money in the bank in the not too distant future....

Maybe the Trust could assist with his wages...

He wasn't short of confidence was he.

Also takes corners and long throws is there nothing he can do.
