He kept us up by getting the exact same points per-game as Robinson.

He worked miracles getting us promoted, but taking our leading goalscorer off, when 2-0 down, replacing him with a defensive midfielder, who has never scored a senior goal can never be described as a genius move. Why did we give up before we even started? A huge chance of a big pay-day, that could have given us some cash for January, and we didn't want it?

Zero shots on target. That's one less than Taunton managed.

We have no complaints, we were beaten by a far better team...”

No complaints?
Zero shots on target... ...again?
Substituting an attacker for a defensive midfielder?
No complaints? Really?

"A far better team"? Well, over two games, we've certainly made them look far better than us. Plenty of other teams haven't struggled quite as much.

Perhaps he took his top scorer off because the game was lost and he wanted him fit for a massive LEAGUE game on Saturday. Perhaps he put Fane on to do what Fane does, break up play, put his feet and head where it hurts and generally do the dirty work. I 100% back Derek. When was the last time anyone who posts on here got not one team but two teams promotion ?

Digging out old quotes is a little poor Keith, especially as you probably have some absolute bangers.

Oh, I think you'll find my old comments get dragged out too, usually by the person I'm quoting!

Morecambe v Leicester

If only we hadn't surrendered.
