Slightly stupid question but is this a proper first team game? I either can't remember or haven't paid it much attention in the last few seasons. Will Derek be in attendance taking charge of a presumably heavily rotated squad?

I would hazard a guess , with there being no admission charge that it will be mainly Academy , maybe with the odd senior player returning from injury (Max Melbourne ??

We have put out a fairly strong team. 9 starters have played first team football this season including Stockton and Rawson. Nice to see Jake Taylor named on the bench.

Hope they don't ruin the pitch !

Hope Stockton gets a goal and remembers that he quite enjoys scoring for Morecambe!

Accy should have the game on their U23 match centre giving blow by blow account of the game.

Log into the Accy Official Site NOT their fans forum.

Half time and we are 2 nil down.

Sounds like we can't be arsed.....and this against an Accy Team made up of their U23 Squad.

The match is NOT on their site after all.....maybe just as well

What was the line-up? Anyone attend, who can let us know how the game went?

Reasonably strong lineup considering the competition.

Smith
Davidson - Cooper - Rawson - Melbourne
Connolly - Fane - Mcloughlin - Gnahoua
Obika - Stockton

Jake Taylor was on the bench but not sure if he got on. Website has Davidson and Cooper listed as midfielders, presumably they played in defence but not sure where exactly as I did not attend.

Yes I went. I thought Connolly and Stockton had a good game, great on target shot by Cole well saved by their keeper. Good to see Obika get a goal.
