Presumably Jason keeps it until someone does come to buy it at a price he's willing to accept.

In the meantime, as Rod says, the club is self-sustained, which means it can plod along, but obviously without funds to increase players budget, so relegation almost inevitable.

If Jason is happy to let the club just plod along on a low playing budget, then there's no reason why he would sell for a song as it's not costing him anything.

Surely if we are relegated Jason is likely to get less than if we stay up. I'd have thought his best chance of selling was now with us still in with a chance of staying up. Who knows whether there have been any offers at all but I'd have thought he'd take any offer that isn't ridiculously low rather than chance us getting relegated.

Jason has just overseen the very slow death of a sports club much bigger than ours. He spent months putting out statements trying to reassure and claiming they were doing everything they could to keep to keep the club afloat. He is potless and just lost his big posh Rugby club. I don't expect him to do us any favours at all. I still think that he and his crooked side kick have had a very easy ride.

Yep, Jason will definitely get less if we're relegated! The last few league performances have given me hope and I don't think we're as doomed as some have made out, but ultimately I think there's a fair argument from any prospective buyers that if a deal isn't reached before January to allow them to invest a bit in the transfer window, they can really start forcing Jason to take a lower offer. Hopefully the deal is done sooner rather than later.

The club can't be asset stripped of the stadium, there's no massive debt lying around and the club is pretty much self sustaining (albeit without much room for more playing budget). We're well protected from a Worcester Warriors scenario happening. Realistically, the most damage Jason can currently do is sell us to bad owners. Hopefully the board will be able to influence a good choice being made.
