Superb strike by Weir, he's scored some great goals!

If all refs would do that. Ball goes to ref to stop the defenders time wasting.

Much better play now, pressing Lincoln and pushing forwards.

Story of our season recently, drawn when we should have won, lost when we should have drawn. Never a free kick for their first, then the deflection. Second goal drops nicely for their lad, we hit the post twice and still no luck. Great effort, can’t fault them.

Yet again, nothing from the ref. Ball goes out for a corner, he brings it back for a free-kick on the half-way line. In time added on, at least 90 seconds, if not more, the ball wasn't in play, including thirty seconds, where their player was sat on the floor, tying his laces! Yet, he blew up dead on time. Every 50:50 or 'soft foul' went their way (free-kicks for them, nothing for us).

That said, we started poorly, right up until they scored. Then we woke up and played well for the rest of the first half. Second half, started okay, but then sat back too deep, until their second, and then we fired up again. Hit the woodwork twice. We probably deserved a point.

More worrying for me is the 6 point gap that’s been opened up! Plus a distinct lack of goals upfront! Also why do we really only seem to go all out attack when we are losing? Why can’t we start games being more offensive and on the front foot?

I think it was a free-kick, BUT we weren't given one about a minute earlier for similar contact. To me, both were free-kicks (or neither).

It was a GREAT PERFORMANCE. If we had any luck at all, we would be halfway up the league.
More performances like this and we will be. Well played Morecambe, Lincoln were hanging on for their lives. Their commentators are praising our performance. They know they've had a battle.
Got to beat them on Tuesday now!

When did we have more % possession AND told by THEIR commentators that we had been the better team throughout the game.

They thought Stockton played well and that we will survive.

Thank god for Jensen Weir

Probably be down already without his goals

Would take a scruffy 1 - 0 at the moment

Doesn`t get any easier though

Exeter (h)
Charlton (h)
Plymouth (a)

Played well last week 1 point
Played well this week 0 points

Unless we can put a couple of wins back to back we are in real real trouble (NOT BEEN NEGATIVE just saying as it is)

All four relegation places taken up by teams on 14 points, then a gap of six points to safety. Any of the relegation placed teams managing to survive, will need at least, back to back wins.

Not that I mean to be negative. You can say we played well, hit the post, bad decisions. The fact is it's another defeat and we're getting cut adrift. We currently need to win as many games as we have all season. Just to be level with the team above the bottom four.

We have currently got 14 points

Realistically we need minimum 46 - 50 to stay up

So we need 32 - 36 more points from 27 games

Is it possible - YES but it`s going to be very very tough

Providing we keep playing like the last few home games and also like today I think we can escape. Could do with Ash Hunter back to join Taylor in the team.

The Fleetwood natives are getting restless about Scott Brown and his style of football. If he was to follow others to go through Fleetwood's revolving door it may mean Cole has no real option come January but bust a gut to keep us up and earn a Summer free transfer.

Commentator on Radio Blackburn today, suggesting Accrington should come on for Stockton, and that he'd be 'Coleman's style of centre forward'. He was better today. Perhaps just needs a goal to remind him of the feeling?

Not a nice prospect !

I thought Accrington's wage structure would be similar to ours so would he get any sort of pay-rise ?

I'm hoping he gets stuck in here and then leaves for free in the Summer after helping to keep us up.

I hope he leaves in January and goes to somewhere like Wrexham.

We can then bring in a striker in January who will actually help keep us in league one and Cole can get the payrise he was after and finish his career in non-league which both parties would probably be quite happy with.

Hopefully we won`t be too far adrift by January

Two home wins against Exeter and Charlton would be a massive boost but both games will be very difficult - followed up with a trip to Plymouth

Personally don`t think we can let the gap get to 10 points or above

Better last two games. Transfer window opens soon. Funny that

Both of those home games are winnable with Exeter seemingly going off the boil a little.

They were well beaten yesterday although Ipswich were excellent.
