I suspect we will need 50pts to stay up this season so we need 35pts from 26 games..... a massive improvement will be needed to achieve the 50 pts mark...

I think safety will be about 45, 46 or 47 points. That still requires quite an improvement, though. We're failing to attack the teams around us. Fleetwood, Burton, Cambridge, Shrewsbury etc all had it too easy when playing us. Yesterday, we looked decent until we scored, then defended for the rest of the match and in the end, we were very fortunate to get a point.

So how did that work out then?

I think Cheltenham need to be in capitals too. They are a relegation candidate.

They are on 25 points and there are a lot of teams on 25 and 26 points for who a bad run could drag them into the relegation zone.

Interesting that Gillingham in EFL 2 have only scored 6 goals and yet have 14 points !

Rock bottom.....things need to change either in style of play under DA or a change in management who from Fridays second half performance appeared to be happy with yet another draw.

I was delighted when he returned but certain actions over his summer retained list in particular letting Tooms go have proved to be wrong. Relying too much on loan players in midfield with little experience has proved to be a major contribution to our current position.

We are missing Aaron in midfield ( Cole in particular has suffered from their link up play) although in fairness it was his decision to go and return closer to his family.

Danny Cowley was interviewed pre game and he was complaining that Pompey struggle to compete with some L1 budgets. Might give some of the clueless numpties on here a reality check.

The problem is that with our current financial position we wouldn't have been able to sign players like Weir , Shaw and Watts on permanent deals. When we had Adam Philips on loan from the Clarets Derek said we only paid £250 per week for him. He has gone to Barnsley and will be on much more than our pay scale.

Coley on Radio Lancashire Sport summed up the league yesterday by saying that it was now 3 leagues in 1....there are clubs who have incredible budgets, there are clubs who have good budgets and then there are the rest who can't compete financially with both of the above.

As a club we live within our means owing very little to anybody whilst others seem to have no problem in stacking up debt that could prove to be their downfall as things outside of football get even tougher.

We may not survive in EFL1 but maybe long term our survival as a football club is greater than those who have incredible debt... :?: :?: :?:

But you still want the Manager sacked? I really struggle to understand your thinking

Our current style of play will eventually see a reduction in gates resulting in less money coming into the club. The Manager is responsible for the style so unless he changes or is changed the club's finances will suffer.

I don't expect you to agree .....but that's nothing new...

Moaning yes, but he's still got more than twice what we've got.
Well done to Sky today for a good insight into Adams Park, helped by the lack of Premiership or World Cup coverage
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think
