Thought Stanners was a top sport, can't imagine Rene "The Ego" Howe doing something like that.
Well done Stanners, Hope to see you back on the pitch in a few months.

Absolutely! Its a shame you can't clearly see 'Matty's poster' that Stanners signed, which had been 'Photoshopped' to 'exaggerate' a certain aspect... Top bloke who hopefully is an uncle again since we filmed that!

So how did that work out then?

Look at the duvet in front of me, which unsurprisingly goes down when Freez tries to get in bed.

Again thanks to World Cup Willie aka Andy Williams for his excellent camera work and editing.

NB: Things you can do with a remote control.

Now the DVD extra. "The making of At Home with the Mods".

Photos courtesy of Matty Deighton.

Andy 'Scorsese' Williams gets setup, while Matty Deighton closes the curtains so he neighbours can't see.

Which we have since wiped down with Dettol!

The premise of the sketch was loosely inspired by Matty and Ockers' hotel arrangements in Exeter! ;)

It took 10 minutes to write and only had one rewrite when Stanners very kindly agreed to help us out.

It was the first time I had properly met Stanners the person as opposed to Stanners the footballer. What a top guy! We thought he would want to be in, film the scene and then shoot off, but he stayed for ages chatting. My kids think he is fantastic, and when he heard that my eldest lad (who is Morecambe mad) was away and gutted to be missing the fun, he wrote a personal message for him on his Morecambe FC calender hanging in his room (which made his weekend when he saw it!). Top guy! :D

I must say if it wasnt for World Cup Willie's 'Videographic Genius' it would have been more of a Blair Witch Project type project!
