Two up front is positive. I'd prefer Shaw & Gibson swap, then Watts or Mayor in for Gibbo. Shaw doing the cover, and another more attack minded player. Still six defenders. Let's see if this works. Hope so.

Must win game today.

Not only do we need a win, but we could really do with Forest Green v Burton Albion finishing as a draw. If Accrington win today, we will be a minimum of nine points from safety.

If Accrington win today I think we can virtually say goodbye to league one football as the gap is starting I’d not already to become to large to pull back. I really hope he sets up the team to be more positive but I’m not holding my breath! If ever there was a must win this is it!

IF we lose tonight the gap would be 10 points from safety

Would be far too much in my opinion

Only nine points, if Cambridge lose.

Which would be far too much in my opinion

It's been a really bright start for both sides. Stockton looks up for it.

In defence too! Cleared off the line after Acci corner! Closest either side have come so far.

Yup    Our bright start has turned in to Accrington looking far more likely to score.

GET IN!

Great play from Stockton, who placed a lovely ball across for Shaw, who finished really well!!!

Against the run of play, but who cares!

Accrington faster to the ball, passing is sharper, they win all the 50/50 balls. It's going to take a vast improvement to get anything out of this game. And Shaw finds the perfect moment to score.
COME ON YOU MORECAMBE REDS.

Fantastic play!!! Superb play from Cooney to get the ball in to Weir, who was in miles of space!

Burton winning away at Forest Green

They are on an excellent run and are currently out of the bottom 4

Four shots for us, eight for Accrington, but who cares :D  :D

First goal was slightly against the run of play, but then we grew in confidence and the second was another lovely move.

With Melbourne forced off, I'd prefer to see Gibson moving out to the left, Shaw in the centre and Mayor middle three. Hope Max isn't too seriously injured, having just come back after such a long period.

Two up front is working! Let's keep this going and get a third!
