Better than Forest Green winning. And we're on an excellent run... ...we've scored twice in the same half for the first time since... ...goodness knows when!

Cynical foul by Pritchard    Only a yellow card, which is probably correct as they had another player who probably would have been in a position to make a challenge, but close.

It is getting feisty!

Phillips off for Gnahoua

Are we keeping two up front?

Hopeful we'll keep two up. Please don't sit back now. Pushing forward and leaving players forward has worked so far.

Well, either we're playing deep now, or they're pushing us back? They nearly [should have] scored now.

Bedeau off for Watts as I write, so no, we're attacking! :D

9 minutes added time due to injury to Accy player which is a let off for us. I'm sure it should have been much more.

I thought the law was three lots of substitutes, plus half time? Hadn't Accrington used all their substitution opportunities? Or was Coyle off while play was stopped for Pritchard so they were actually both together, even though they were a few minutes apart?

Superb result! Just what we needed. Two up front. Stockton played really well. Lots of candidates for MotM! :D :D :D

Now, on to the next 'must win' game!

What a great result. We withstood their early good start and the scored two wonderful goals. Kept tight for the part in the second half for a well deserved win. Onwards and upwards!!
COME ON YOU MORECAMBE REDS.

Just had a look, that is what happened, both subs at the same time, even though they were a few minutes apart. Hope Pritchard is okay, he looked to be in a lot of pain

If we can follow it up with another win against an in form Burton we will look a bit better in the table

Great result! They get a lot of criticism at times, but I thought tonight's ref was terrific.

Two good goals and a fantastic defensive performance. We won every battle tonight and saw that game out brilliantly. Shaw and Weir dominated the middle of the park with a performance well above their years, they were brilliant. Cole showed flashes off his ability and really pushed Shaw for MOTM. Our Defenders didn't miss a header and that is some going against a hoof ball outfit like Stanley. Derek got his subs spot on which enabled us to see the game out. Adam Mayor is just a baller.

A positive atmosphere in the ground and everybody got behind the team. Great night.

*Ryan Cooney deserves a mention, he was really on it tonight

Melbourne going off was the only negative of the night. Hope it isn't serious, but after such a long period out, it is a worry.

Scrappy at times but we grew into the game and deserved the win. Despite having more possession and more shots, I didn’t think Accrington looked up to much and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them go down based upon that performance and current league position.

Great result. Second goal was key. Only the third time we have scored two all season and the first time at home. With the clean sheet the lads must take confidence going into two massive home games. 4-6 points from these and we are back in the fight to beat the drop. UTS

A typical DA win.....allow the opposition the bulk of the play and score 2 breakaway goals.

On the night we played very well and never looked in danger.

DA went for an attack formation when using his subs and in a way the injury to Max may have forced his hand, whatever it was an excellent performance against a very ordinary Accy team who could be in danger of having to scrap for survival.

Rumour was that DA's half time team talk was to weigh into his players telling them that they had not read the script which didn't suggest a 2 goal lead at half time....

Credit where due and for once DA's tactics worked perfectly on the night.

Coleman has bemoaned being clinical - you're much more likely to be clinical when taking a shot from a good position inside the box rather than another hopeful ping from distance. And that was the difference tonight!

Unbelievable work from Stockton for both goals. Doesn't matter too much if he's going through a dry patch if he's able to hold the ball up and bring others into play like he did last night. That was the Stockton we've seen over the past couple of years!

Also loved the late substitution bringing Watts on for Bedeau. Accrington were just starting to have a bit too much joy getting towards our final third - Watts added that little bit of extra zip in midfield to push a bit higher up the pitch and stop Stanley getting into more dangerous areas. Defend from the front - think it caught the Accrington players pushing on out a bit too.
