I know weather is due to go below freezing again tonight
I will be travelling to game from Blackpool so would like to know quite early if game will go ahead or not

Born again Bill wrote:Just seen a Facecloth post from Chorley FC they have put frost covers on the pitch and have heaters blowing underneath to try and get their game on today against Boston. The groundsman was stopping there all night to do all he could to get a game on in the Northern prem !!!: roll:
So, we have missed out on a high 4k crowd, corporate stuff and a chance to carry on our great home form for the cost of hire of a few heaters !!
redrobo wrote:The problem we have is that the main stand positioning does not allow any sunlight to get onto the ground until mid afternoon hence there is only a limited amount of warm rays during the colder winter months.
Covers do offer some protection but it is the lack of direct sun that is the root of the problem.
If the main stand had been positioned where the away stand is the problems of a frozen ground may have been resolved.

Cheltenham now 3-1 down at Plymouth which is good for us.
