Noticed this on Twitter earlier ..hope it's not true

Morecambe are battling to keep on-loan Brighton midfielder Jensen Weir until the end of the season. Weir has caught the eye with the League One strugglers and is attracting interest from elsewhere this month #morecambe

He was at Wigan 3 years 2017 to 2020 and played 1 game.

I think if it is up to him he will stay here.

Money talks though as we found out with Phillips and Accrington.

Do you ever get the feeling that things are conspiring against OUR club.... :?: :?: :?:

My understanding of the loan system is that a player has very little say in whom he is loaned out to and if his parent club want him to move on to a bigger club or in the next division then he has to go.

I just hope that DA and Co can have some influence with Brighton and that they will allow him to develop even further with us.....but it is worrying...

Did say earlier on Radio Lancashire that he was looking forward to playing at Ipswich tomorrow night so that could be a good sign

Derek also said hoping for maybe 1 more in and possibly exits as well

I do wonder if Dan Crowley has been signed in case Jensen does go back

Some good news this morning.

Derek says we have passed the deadline when loan players can be recalled by their clubs so all of them are here to the end of the season.

Have the rules changed?

Adam Phillips was recalled on deadline day last season if I remember correctly, and immediately loaned to Accrington.

Derek said that club install clauses in the loan deals regarding parent clubs recalling their loan players. He also said there was an oversight in the original Adam Phillips deal which meant Burnley were able to recall him
