It's got to be our day. We have looked a completely different team. Got the four goals back to help the goal difference. Keep it tight lads.
COME ON YOU MORECAMBE REDS.

Crowley off for Hunter. Crowley probably MotM, but plenty of others in it too, including Love.

They had more shots than us, more shots on target and more corners plus 70% of the play and we won 5-1    Brilliant!

Now for Derby!

It has now been given as an 'own goal'. Shame for Mellon, not scoring on his home debut, but at least I've now got enough space to edit the thread title a bit better! :D

Unreal performance from every lad in a red shirt, that was special.

Must admit great performance today
Crowley looks a class act they should be offering him an extended contract now

But still a poor refereeing performance

5 goals from 5 shots on target all game :o

A well deserved win though - we played really effective football going forwards. A few wobbles defensively.

Good decision from Derek to keep Rawson in the starting 11 - he could easily have kept in Delaney instead but Rawson proved his worth, dealing with all of Bristols aerial balls.

Donald Love had possibly his best game in a Morecambe shirt. Good involvement going forwards and loads of interceptions to win us back possession.

Crowley had a sensational debut and looks simply too good for us.

Simeu looks combative and a good addition.

Mellon didn’t do loads but hopefully will find his feet and grow in confidence.

Finally… some great play from Stockton and there were shades of last season with his well taken finish. Hope he can score a few more now.

I thought Mellon was fantastic. He won headers, ran at defenders and got shots away. I thought he played really well and looked a step up from Phillips.

From the Burnley Junior section to welcome Mellon on his home loan debut. 8-)

Or could it be Overton and Middleton Junior school kids. Nice touch from the club to get local schools and their families into the ground and involved!
