Yesterday's crowd

Yesterday's crowd

Plenty on here (& rightly so) about the quality of our players yesterday. However, I have had a very interesting chat today with a friend in the UK who is a Bristol Rovers supporter and who was at The Mazuma yesterday. He was full of praise for the Morecambe supporters; totally and loudly behind the team (in fact he said that the whole atmosphere reminded him of one big happy family). He was also really impressed by the friendliness of the Morecambe supporters afterwards - generally on the way out of the ground and later over a drink.
So ...... a pat on the back to all our fans, as well as to the team (but all part of the same happy family of course).
The wine and the football seem better in the sunshine!!

We generally are a decent fan base. Helps when you win 5-1 though

If Evatt and his bench try their usual tricks, let's leave it to the officials to deal with it. The only issue is, we will need very sturdy officials.

Ha hah ha, you know he will be, he cannot help himself.

He is creating an interesting little football team, the lad from Burton when he is fit will be challenging Dion for a place. The fella we took on loan from Southampton (via Cheltenham) pulled his hamstring as not sure what he was doing at Cheltenham but was far away from being fit enough.

But the lad from Man Utd Shoretire what a player he is going to be worth the entry fee alone.

Please to see Derek has got you rocking and hopefully the fee we paid Burton does not mean they take Cole from you.
Looks like I am away for the match at your place, I hope our mugs behave themselves my fingers will be crossed for no repeats.

Shoretire was in the under-23 side that lost 4-0 to us in the Pizza Trophy. Be nice to put 4 past his current team as well :D

I don't mind anyone putting 4 past them.

lad looks well balanced and a player, hopefully he keeps us in the melting pot of the play offs, top two look a little away from us and we are more than capable of having an off day.

should be a good game hope we can keep you down to 1 or 2.
